The best Facebook comment moderation tools in 2026, compared

There are more comment moderation tools than there were two years ago, and they are priced in three different ways: per comment, per profile, or per retainer. This is a plain comparison of the ones that show up when advertisers search, with the numbers from their own pricing pages on September 10, 2026. We make one of them, and we say so.

How to read the prices

Per-comment tools (CommentGuard, MyComments, FeedGuardians, Engageefy) charge by the number of comments handled each month, and usually allow unlimited pages. Per-profile suites (NapoleonCat, Statusbrew) charge by users and social profiles, and bundle publishing and analytics. Retainer tools (Superpower) charge a flat fee and set the rules up for you.

If you run ads, count comments, not profiles: a good campaign can produce more comments in a week than a page gets organically in a year.

Meta Moderation Assist (free)

Built into every Facebook Page's Professional dashboard. Hides new comments by keyword (up to 1,000 with variations), profanity in eight languages, links, images, and author signals such as new accounts or no profile picture. No cost, no inbox, no replies, no meaning-based judgement. Switch it on regardless of what else you use.

Engageefy (from $29 · 10,000 comments)

Ours. Facebook, Instagram and TikTok (beta) in one inbox. Pattern filters plus AI moderation that reads context, with three strictness levels and a reason on every hidden comment; unhides become examples the AI uses next time. AI replies from the first plan, with agents that know your products and reply at a human pace. Links on your own domain with click counts per reply. Plans: $29 for 10,000 comments and 100 AI replies, $99 for 20,000 and 1,000, $199 for 50,000 and 2,500, $399 for 120,000 and 10,000. Unlimited pages on every plan. Trial by invitation code with a card.

CommentGuard (from $29 · 5,000 comments)

Facebook and Instagram. Auto-hide with sentiment, unlimited AI responses and unlimited DMs on every plan, unlimited pages and team members. Plans: $29 for 5,000 comments, $49 for 10,000, $99 for 25,000, $199 for 50,000; custom plans up to 500,000. Strong if you reply at very high volume and never want an AI quota. MyComments.io (from $29.99 · 1,000 comments)

Facebook and Instagram ad comments, with a no-card free trial. Spam, profanity and negativity filters on all plans; custom keyword lists from $79.99 (5,000 comments); AI intent engine and auto-DMs on the $149.99 plan (25,000 comments). Unlimited pages and users. Simple and quick to start; the entry plan is small.

FeedGuardians (from €41 · 5,000 interactions)

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Bluesky. AI comment moderation, AI auto-replies with a brand voice, basic analytics. €41 a month for 5,000 interactions and one workspace, €83 for 12,000 and three workspaces, €191 for 25,000 and fifteen workspaces, €374 for 50,000. Unlimited users. Worth a look if Bluesky matters to you or you want agency workspaces at the mid tier.

NapoleonCat (from $79 · per users and profiles)

A full suite: inbox, auto-moderation, publishing, analytics and reporting across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, Messenger, Google Business Profile and app stores. Standard from $79 a month on annual billing (2 users, 5 profiles), $89 monthly; larger bundles up to 15 users and 40 profiles. The right choice when you need scheduling and reports as much as moderation. Read our comparison with NapoleonCat.

Statusbrew (annual plans, per users and profiles)

Another suite, priced per year. Lite (1 user, 5 profiles) hides organic comments on Facebook and Instagram; Standard (3 users, 10 profiles) adds a rule engine for automated comment management; Premium adds AI sentiment, assignment workflows and listening; Enterprise is custom; agencies pay from $49 per client. Monthly prices are not shown publicly. Built for teams that want workflows and listening in one place.

Superpower ($199 moderation · $450 with replies)

A done-with-you model: custom auto-moderation rules configured for you at onboarding, $199 a month for moderation only, $450 with unlimited AI-generated replies and ongoing rule updates, and a done-for-you tier on request. Limits and platforms are not listed on the pricing page. Makes sense when you would rather pay for setup than do it yourself.

Which one, then

  • One page, a few hundred comments a month: Meta's Moderation Assist, then MyComments or CommentGuard's entry plan.
  • Ads at volume, several pages, want to know which replies sell: Engageefy.
  • Unlimited AI replies matter more than comment volume: CommentGuard.
  • You need publishing, analytics and reporting too: NapoleonCat or Statusbrew.
  • You want someone to set the rules up and keep them tuned: Superpower.
  • Bluesky or agency workspaces at the mid tier: FeedGuardians.

Try it on your own comments
